The Modern Land, Paul Yem

The earth is self referential, every action we make has an equal and opposite reaction. The evidence of man made defines our modern landscape and is overwhelming and beautiful. It allows for a degredation of the landscape that enhances the already serene land to appear ideal. Without the touch of human existence, the destruction to a pristine land, beauty has no context and is therefore irrelevant.
